Consular Interview for U.S. Immigration

USAFIS is a privately owned company that helps foreign nationals with their U.S. visa applications. Part of the process of immigrating to the United States is the Consular Interview.

You will receive an email about this interview once all of your forms have been received by the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) and approved.

You will be informed that a Consular Interview is scheduled and you will be directed to login to the Electronic Diversity Visa (E-DV) website to read more about the appointment including the location, date, and time of the interview.

Everyone in your family that is applying for the Diversity Immigrant Visa must be at this meeting.

The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will receive your completed Form DS-260 at the location where you and your family will be interviewed.

Here are the items that you will need at the interview:

  • DS-260 confirmation page
  • Valid passports for each person applying for a visa
  • All applicable civil documents – either the originals or certified copies that have been translated into English
  • Two identical photos for each family member. Photos must meet all requirements
  • Fee payment
